Priestlands Student – Ben Pawson

For two weeks we have had the absolute privilege of working with Ben Pawson, a student at Priestlands School in Lymington.

We have kept him busy! He has learned new applications like Adobe Illustrator, and bit of Photoshop, the backend of Drupal and some WordPress and delivered on some live briefs for some of our clients. He’s also been helping Luke with the transferral of website content – we are migrating the Kifi website into a new one currently in the design stage. It’s been a real pleasure to have him and hes really picked up the baton and run with it!

I have encouraged him to work off paper before going into the Mac, so his logo ideas have been started at pen and paper stage.

He has been courteous and consistently on-time for work. At the end of the week he will be joining me in a meeting with Appello in Lymington – where we will meet with a supplier and the client to produce some ideas. I hope we have been able to give him some true and valuable work experience, that he’s not put off and still feels inspired!

It’s a big ask for any 15 year old and we feel he has been absolutely brilliant to be around. I am very impressed with his ability to pick up the design application software and work his way around it to create his ideas.

Consequently, he will be joining us again in the summer.

Zubie has also decided Ben is rather nice too….!
