From La Gomera in the Canaries to English Harbour, Antigua, the World's Toughest Row pushes competitors to their absolute limits, demanding unrelenting endurance and unwavering mental strength.
My role
Create an eye-catching boat wrap that boosts fundraising visibility and engages sponsors at every level. Drive social media engagement, with video content, reels, photography, website and stories, interviews and help achieve the £90k fundraising target, while managing all additional marketing print and design materials.
Result
Managed to get the team to their fundraising target of 90k despite very little contact with them, so hardly any content (photos, stories, messages) during the race!
I relied on music to create emotional engagement, particularly Luke Anyon and Lange's "Skyward Bound" and Chicane's "Offshore," combined with voice-over narration from Julie to carry the narrative forward.
The timing couldn't have been better—we hit the £90k target just as they stepped off the boat onto the jetty at English Harbour.
